CES 2009
Like every year in the beginning of January many new gadgets and other consumer products are introduced at the CES in Las Vegas. Wannahaves was also present at CES 2009 with our host Tommy. One of the first stands we visited at CES 2009 was Microsoft with its third generation Zune media player.

CES: Zune media player
The Zune from Microsoft is a fierce competitor to Apple’s Ipod. In November 2006 Microsoft released the first Zune. The first model is called the Zune 30 and has a 30 GB hard drive, 3” screen, and simple directional pad for menu navigation. One year later they released the second generation Zune media players. The Zune 4 and Zune 8 are flash memory-based, smaller in size and have a Zune Pad instead of the simple directional pad. Also part of the second generation is the Zune 80. This model was released one month later and is the replacement to the Zune 30. Since September 2008 consumers can also get the Zune 16 and Zune 120. These two also belong to the second generation. A few weeks later Microsoft introduced the third generation. The Zune kept the same capacity and design and got improved firmware and desktop software.

Via Zune Originals you can personalize your own Zune with laser-engraved artwork. You can choose from over 50 exclusive designs, and add a free personalized inscription.
