Katheryn Hudson (1984) was born in Santa Barbara, California. We all know her as Katy Perry from the hit single “I Kissed a Girl”. She changed her surname to her mother’s maiden name Perry because otherwise she could be confused with the actress Kate Hudson.

Finally in 2007 she signed to Capitol Music where she began recording her album “One of the Boys”. On 6 November, 2008 Katy Perry hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards.
