Cadillac recently unveiled the all-new 2010 SRX Crossover. The five-passenger SUV was initially referred to as the Provoq Concept or Cadillac BRX. This new Cadillac SRX has gotten a completely new design and is going to be more efficient thanks to high technology engine choices.
2010 SRX in eco mode
There are two engine choices for the Cadillac SRX. A new 3.0L direct injected V6 that comes standard on the 2010 SRX and a 2.8L turbocharged V6 which is optional. The V6 engine with direct injection is expected to optimize power and reduce emissions. Both engines come equipped with a standard Hydra-Matic 6T70 six-speed automatic transmission. The Cadillac SRX also includes a selectable “eco mode” that alters transmission shift point to maximize fuel economy.
Cadillac gadgets
The 2010 Cadillac SRX also features numerous advanced electronic gadgets. A few of them are the pop-up navigation screen, adaptive lighting, a power liftgate and an integrated hard disc drive for audio storage. All this and more will be available from the summer of 2009.
